Offshore Termination & Testing

Up To 400kV Terminations

Over 100 Projects completed

Over 10,000 Cables terminated

An offshore wind farm only starts generating power once every high-voltage connection has been safely completed, tested and approved. This final phase leaves no room for error. Weather windows are limited, vessel time is expensive, and every delay can affect the entire project schedule. Reynard specialises in the critical high-voltage connections that bring offshore wind farms into operation. From array cables and export systems to offshore substations, our certified high-voltage specialists deliver cable terminations up to 525 kV.

The final connections that bring offshore wind farms to life.

Typical applications

Array cable termination

Termination and testing of 33 kV and 66 kV inter-array cable systems inside wind turbine foundations.

Export cable connections

High-voltage terminations between export cables, offshore substations and landfall installations.

Offshore substations

Installation and testing of transformer, GIS and switchgear connections on fixed and floating offshore substations.

What Reynard delivers

Every offshore project is different, but our scope typically includes
