The ultimate learning objective is for offshore jointers to assess their tasks and act accordingly in any situation, utilizing their theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Duration of the HV Jointer course
During these months you’ll complete a wide variety of online learning modules covering the necessary theory and background that can be completed at home in preparation for these days.

My HV Jointer course is suitable for those with experience in electrical engineering, offshore cable work, and onshore jointing. However, if you’re eager to learn and don’t possess a background in these fields, I encourage you to apply as well. Three modules
The HV jointer course consists of three modules:
- Days 1 to 7 focus on 24 kV cables.
- Days 8 to 14 on 33 kV cables.
- Days 15 to 25 on 66 kV cables.
Certification
Before the actual proof of proficiencies, you complete a test yourself. This test yourself is appointed to you via my online learning platform. This test yourself is mainly built to refresh and repeat what’s been learned before.
My entire course comprises three practical proof of proficiency assessments at 24 kV, 33 kV, and 66 kV. Upon completing each proof of proficiency, you will be awarded a partial certificate, elevating your status to that of an apprentice jointer for the corresponding kV level.
This recognition serves as a testament to your dedication and expertise in the field.
Successfully mastering each proof of proficiency signifies the completion of the entire course, marking a significant milestone in your journey. If you have completed the entire course, you will be honoured with a total of four certificates, each symbolizing your achievements. The fourth and final certificate represents your completion of the entire program. With these certificates, you are not just equipped with knowledge and skills but also empowered to embark on your career journey as a fully-fledged basic HV jointer, ready to make impactful contributions to the industry.
