What we look for during the Skills Test
The Skills Test mirrors the conditions of an actual project. You work on a realistic termination set-up at the Reynard Academy. We assess four things:
Craftsmanship.
The fundamentals. Preparation, tool handling, finishing. Clean execution, in the right sequence, with the right tools.
Attitude.
How you approach the task. Ownership of your scope. Composure under time pressure. The willingness to stop and ask when something is not right.
Safety mindset.
Risk is anticipated before it becomes risk. Personal protection, work area, and team awareness — without being told.
Verification.
You measure. You test. You record. If it cannot be checked, it is not finished.
